Wastecycle

Brief:

Wastecycle is one of the East Midlands' most innovative companies, specialising in recycling commercial waste as an alternative to sending it to landfill.

The central theme of the website was to educate users about how waste management and large scale recycling works and how it can be of benefit.

Wastecycle was also keen to promote its services throughout the region and to attract business from new sectors.

Solution:

The new website was built using Internova's Content Management System, which provides clients with a very powerful yet user-friendly set of tools to control the content of their website, giving them maximum flexibility.

Within the new website, we developed a "client extranet", where Wastecycle's customers can log-in and view a series of management reports. As well as ensuring that clients can keep tabs on how much waste is being collected and recycled, these reports will also help Wastecycle to achieve environmental awards / standards such as ISO9001 and ISO14001.

A waste calculator tool was also provided in the website. This allows visitors to calculate how much they could save by recycling and how this would in turn affect the environment.
