Lakeside Arts Centre

Brief:

Lakeside Arts Centre at The University of Nottingham is one of Nottingham's leading cultural centres, consisting of five diverse venues:

• Djanogly Art Gallery
• Djanogly Recital Hall
• Djanogly Theatre
• The Weston Gallery
• Wallner Gallery

The challenge for us was to represent all of these venues within a single vibrant website. The main purpose of the site was to promote a broad catalogue of events to the general public.

Solution:

We built a fully content managed website based on Lakeside's existing brand extending the look and feel of their printed brochure to the web. Flash technology was used to give movement and fluidity to the site adding interest for the user. The site allows its visitors to browse the catalogue with ease.

A feature of Internova's WebShop engine is that it allows a number of events to be selected as recommended or featured events. These are rotated each time a page is visited.

All content is managed internally by Lakeside's marketing team.
