Weebls-stuff from Sumo Dojo Productions

Weebls stuff.com publishes quirky online cartoons and uses our PrintShop system to sell t-shirts and other print-to-order merchandise featuring their characters. Some of their more popular cartoons include Weebl & Bob, Magical Trevor and Kenya.

The people at Weebls stuff are all busy writing cartoons and so don’t have time to run a shop – this is where PrintShop is ideal as we handle everything from website administration to order fulfilment and customer services. All weebls-stuff need to do is keep sending us t-shirt designs and collect their royalty payment for the products sold.

For Christmas 2005 they wanted to take their product range into new areas and asked us to source a soft toy range of 6 of their most popular characters.

These were then sold along side the print-to-order merchandise in their PrintShop, using our in-house warehousing and despatch service. This service allows our clients to sell their own stock range, again without any of the usual hassle of administering the shop themselves. Plus selling all their products through the same shop front meant plenty of opportunity to cross sell and maximise revenue.

The result was a massive success with sales in December being more than 6 times the average per month for the rest of the year and over 80% of the toys range stock sold over the festive season.

We are currently in planning to do it all again this year, and have two new additions to the soft toy characters range to help us do it!
